Harold “Hype” Williams is an American music video director, film director, film producer, and screenwriter. Williams was born in Queens, New York. He is of African American and Honduran descent. He went to Adelphi University. His nickname “Hype” comes from his hyperactive nature as a child.
He shot the cover photo for playboy in December 2007, with Kim Kardashian being on the front page.
